Cultural Department

Who we are:

Audible, readable, visible. The Cultural Department regularly organises cultural events on and around the campus and serves as the primary point of contact for artists and creators of all kinds. From booking and stage construction to backstage management, we handle numerous tasks ensuring the effective organisation and funding of various projects, and establish and maintain links with artists, cultural workers, sponsors, and clubs. Furthermore as part of the student council we represent student interests and strive to promote cultural life across the campus.

You've got ideas for what the campus is missing, want to gain experience in cultural management, or simply feel like getting involved in a relaxed environment? Regardless of how much time you can commit, what you are studying, or what skills you might or might not have: we are always looking for helping hands and bright minds! The only thing you need to bring is enthusiasm for the cause.

Artists and cultural contributors:

Do you create art in any form? Do you make music or play an instrument? Do you write, photograph, or paint? Do you do something else entirely? Or do you have ideas for a project or event? We want to get to know you! We are only as strong as the network that surrounds us. That is why we want to connect with the creative minds at the university. This allows us to plan events, concerts, exhibitions, and contact you if a project or idea comes up that fits your profile. At the same time, you have the opportunity to bring in your own ideas. We will support you from the initial concept to the detailed proposal and application and - if approved - assist with the organisation, funding, and final implementation!
